Geospatial Training Specialist

Objective

The Geospatial Training Specialist is responsible for delivering high-quality training sessions both at KOREC’s offices and at customer locations nationwide. The role focuses on educating users about KOREC’s software and equipment, as well as workflows related to topographic and measured building surveys, construction, and GIS data capture and processing.

This position involves creating and updating training materials for both in-person and online formats, producing video tutorials, and providing technical support as needed. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office and media software, and a passion for engaging with people. Additionally, there will be opportunities to promote training courses and resources through social media and webinars.

Location: Home or Office Based

Education & Experience

• Degree in a relevant field or equivalent geospatial work experience, including GIS, land surveying, measured building survey, BIM, or site engineering.

• Prior experience in developing and delivering training programs is preferred.

• Ability to travel to KOREC UK offices and other locations as required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct training sessions for KOREC customers and staff.

• Support regional teams in preparing and delivering training.

• Maintain and enhance existing training materials.

• Develop new training content for both in-person and online delivery.

• Create and manage training course web pages using the Thinkific platform.

• Record training attendance in the KOREC CRM and oversee the issuance of training certificates.

• Coordinate the printing of course materials through an online library.

• Manage central training resources and equipment.

• Develop customer support guides in both document and video formats.

• Provide occasional cover for support staff as needed.

• Assist in promoting KOREC training courses and resources.
