About Us

KOREC Group is a leading provider of world-class mapping and data capture hardware and software solutions. As we expand our Mapping and GIS Sales Team, we are looking for a dynamic Sales Consultant with a passion and instinct for generating new business and mining our large customer base in the South of England.

What will you be doing?

As a Mapping and GIS Sales Consultant, you will play a crucial role in promoting and selling the benefits of our cutting-edge mapping and data capture hardware and software solutions. Working across diverse industries such as utilities, forestry, local authorities, and environmental consultants, you will be responsible for generating monthly sales to meet revenue and gross margin targets.

Reporting directly to the Head of Mapping & GIS, the role entails researching the target market, identifying business development opportunities, planning your sales strategy, and winning against our competitors.

The Sales Consultant role is an integral part of the Mapping and GIS sales and support team, working with renewals team, product specialists and marketing team to identify potential sales, and growth opportunities within our existing customer accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate monthly sales to meet revenue and gross margin targets.

• Develop and implement a territory sales plan to effectively target potential clients.

• Identify, nurture, and close new sales opportunities within the designated territory.

• Demonstrate the benefits of Trimble mapping equipment and KOREC software to potential users.

• Maintain a balance between managing the existing customer base and proactive prospecting for new business.

• Ensure accurate recording of sales activities using our CRM system for forecasting and reporting purposes.

• Adhere to health and safety processes to safeguard the interests of the business, employees, and customers.

What We're Looking For:

Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and resilient, taking a proactive and strong lead

• Proven sales experience, adept at up-selling and cross-selling to an established account base

Experienced in creating, generating, and closing new business opportunities

• Excel at finding and closing opportunities in a short to medium sales cycle

Reliable and trustworthy professional, committed to upholding the highest standards of integrity and accountability, focused on achieving agreed goals and exceeding expectations

Previous experience in consultative/solution selling and ability to identify customer needs and create solutions

• Strong commercial awareness and excellent attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills

• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with staff, customers, and the wider operations team

• Proficient in analysing market trends and competitor activities

• Able to work independently without supervision
